episode 91: friendly foes In the lab, hundreds, of not thousands, of lined up TV screens suddenly go to static. "So, we have 5 Sailor Scouts to deal with," says the voice of Tomoe. On all the screens appear pictures of each girl, doing their attack. "They're so troublesome. And what about these new characters?" Uranus and Neptune appear on the screen. "What troubles me the most," says Kaori, "is that they seem to always be by the pure heart victim. It's as if they can predict where we'll strike next!" Tomoe laughs, "Then, set up a heart snatching and lure them into a trap!" Kaori looks satisfied. "They will be terminated!!!"... all the girls (excluding Amara and Michelle) are watching a motorcross race. A rider in green wins with ease. "Go Amara! You're so good!" Mina exclaims. "Yeah, and it's even better because she's a girl going against all the guys! Way to go!" cries out Raye. Amy looks up from her book, "OH no! I was reading and missed the finish!" *sweat drop* Amara takes off her helmet, and Michelle hands her a towel, when the girls go over to congratulate her... when a group of guys suddenly comes around. "Girls aren't supposed to be racing here!" Amara scoffs, "Isn't the fastest RACER supposed to win?" They look to attack Amara!, but Darien gets in the way to protect her...a figure approaches. "Mr. Yamada!" the guys cry out! "Leave him alone," says Yamada, I'll just win next time." They all walk away..."Who was that?" wonders Serena. "Katsutoshi Yamada. He came in second." Michelle whispers to Amara, "He may have a pure heart..." getting VERY close, she says, "I'll watch out for him." ... The race now over, all the girls and Darien go on the bus...but Serena, distracted by a stand, forgot to come! She runs, and RUNS, after the bus, but it doesn't stop! Looking at the schedule, she whines, "NO! Not another HOUR!" *sob* Amara comes up to her. "You want a ride?" "...Sure!" She gives Serena a helmet. "Hold on tight!" They ride off, Serena gleefull... when a truck comes behind them, trying to upend them! Amara goes to the side, but the truck still continues, driving into the metal of the motorcycle! "I'll lose 'em! HANG ON!" cries Amara, and doing a backwards wheelie, she gets into the woods. They hide behind the bushes...Serena, scared, falls into Amara's arms, blushes, notices how pretty her perfume smelled... suddenly, two of the riders (who were driving the truck) came up to Amara! "You wanna fight?" But Amara, of course, the toughest of them all, gives them both swift kicks that sends them flying! "You little boys should go shopping, they're selling personalites! Jerks," she comments as they run away... A waterfall by the site of the race, where a rainbow flows. A transparent bubble, containing Kaori, hovers up, then breaks, leaving Kaori holding a daimon egg. "This will be perfect," she thinks, watching Yamada at the banks of the waterfall. Throwing the egg up, it goes into Yamada's motorcross bike - and the bike transforms into the horrible tire-covered daimon, Tire!...meanwhile, in the woods, something beeps - Amara's communicator. "Yeah." "The sea is grinding," Michelle says, "meet me at the motorcross park." "Got it." Amara closes the watch. "Listen, I have to go. Go to the road, a bus should come." She goes through the foliage and is gone. "What was so urgent?" Serena wonders. She begins to follow... meanwhile, Sailor Neptune arrives at the scene! "DEEP SUBMERGE!" The daimon is hurt and drops the heart crystal, which Neptune returns. "HAH! I wasn't after the pure heart! You've entered my trap!" cackles Kaori Night. And in a flash, Tire divides itself into two seperate Tires! They wrap Neptune on a tree, leaving her helpless!...Uranus finally arrives, and Serena looks on, realizing what had happened!... "MOON COSMIC POWER!" Sailor Moon arrives now, and Kaori AND Uranus are both shocked! Using her tiara, she frees Neptune...who falls into Kaori's arms. "Take one more step, Uranus, and your cousin is history!" she cries, holding a knife to Neptune's throat! "I'll help you!" cries Moon, but Uranus just tells her to mind her own business! "Oh, they disagree? CHAINING ATTACK!" Kaori commands...and two rings of light are hurled and Moon and Uranus, binding them with chains at the arm! And Kaori wraps Neptune with her hair, choking her! "RUN! Just get away! You must continue the mission!" cries Neptune, as she is thrown down into the waterfall...and Uranus begins to run... the two get to a cave to hide. "How could you abandon your own cousin? We should save her!" cries Moon. "Are you going to let her die?" Uranus, shocked, says, "We can't go out this way." Moon shouts, "You're a bad person!" "No. The two of us made a promise. If either of us should get caught, the other would continue the mission." "but what's so important about those pure hearts? Is it worth her dead?" Moon cries out. Uranus looks sympathetic. "Listen. There is a deafening Silence approaching. If we don't make sacrifices, the world will suffer! I don't like it, but that's what it is..." "Oh, you're hurt!" Moon notices that Uranus' shoulder is bloody. "I'll help you!" "No, forget it," says Uranus smugly, but Moon gets her handkerchief and ties up Uranus' arm with it. "Umm...I have a stupid question...well, my back is itchy, and I can't reach it...can you?" Moon stammers. Awkwardly, Uranus scratches Moon's back. "That's the spot!" Moon says happily. "Funny...I always thought you were an annoying girl, but here like this, you are really something," Uranus suddenly says... when a pair of searchlights are seen in the cave - the two Tires are searching for them! "Stay down!" commands Uranus, and holds her tight, to her breast. "Funny..." thinks Moon, "this is the same perfume I smelled on Amara...COULD IT BE?!" Now under fire, the two girls run back out of the forest, where Kaori Night told the daimons to kill them! But now reconciled, the two girls dodged every attack! "CHAINING!" the daimons scream, but the attack didn't chain them more - it broke the chain that was on them! Now freed, they could attack! And Kaori flies off... "WORLD SHAKING!" Uranus destroys one of the daimons! But the other one is right in front of Moon - "MOON SPIRAL HEART ATTACK!" It is destroyed too!... "You were strong today, Sailor Moon..." starts Uranus, "but don't interfere anymore!" Uranus goes down to check out Neptune, who has climbed out of the pool. "You risked your life for me!" cries Neptune, but Uranus just looks up. "I didn't...it was her," she says with a little regret. Moon stands, looking at the soldiers and smiling... so Yamada was saved...and so were Uranus, Moon, and Neptune! But can they really get along, or will they be apart forever? Who IS Uranus, anyway?...
