episode 89: lita borrows trouble Amara drives REALLY FAST in her motorcycle...and meanwhile, Serena walks downtown with Lita. Commenting about Lita's great cooking, Serena says, "If it weren't for your genius cooking, I'd starve!" Lita looks serious for a moment. "Yeah, well, anyone can learn how to cook. I guess...I think I want to cook so that people won't be so afraid of me, to show that I have a soft side. I want people to look up to me." "But you're great! You're pretty, smart, talented, great at karate..." Serena goes on. "Besides, you're so tall, everyone looks up to you!" Lita laughs, "You're only saying that cause you're my best friend." But suddenly, amara on the motorcycle comes up to the girls, heading straight towards them!... Realizing that Amara'll hit, Lita jumps over Serena and gets her out of the way as Amara slows to a quick stop. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry!" Amara gets up and runs to them. "I'll call an ambulance!" she yells, still with her helmet on! "Oh...I'm fine..." Lita starts, and Serena jokes, "Get my lawyer!" Amara tkes off her helmet and pleads, "Please don't! I'll loose my wheels!" "I was kidding, Amara!" Serena laughs...then Amara notices that Lita has a cut on her arm. "Really, I'm OK," Lita says softly. "No, let me get that! I'm so sorry." Amara comes up to her, holds her in her arms, as she puts her purple scarf around Lita's cut. Lita gets a dreamy look in her eyes as she drives away... "she's so cool!" Serena starts, but Lita just looks on towards her, like she's in love! "Hey, I'M your best friend here! Hello!" Serena yells at her! "Oh, I'm sorry..."... in her apartment, Michelle floats in her pool, looking troubled. an overlay of Amara's voice - "We have to hurry, Michelle. We only need the three pure heart crystals, and then there will be peace." "Is that important?" asks Michelle. "Yes, for everyone on Earth and beyond. And sacrifices are necessary. The Silence is coming in."...Michelle gets out of the pool and calls Amara on a communicator watch (similar to the Soldiers'...hmmm...). "An enemy will be here," Amara states... meanwhile, Lita, Amy and Serena walk downtown. "Why are you going to Amara's house anyway?" wonders Serena. Lita, sheepishly, says that "she just wants to give back the scarf."...but up ahead stands Kaori Night, a daimon egg above her...a "strange wind", as Amy puts it, blows the scarf out of Lita's hand! Unknown to her, the daimon egg has settled in it..."I have to find it! Oh NO!" Running, she enters a parking lot and searches. "...Oh, there it is!" she yells, as it's under a car. "Just a little farther...there! Bad scarf," she says to herself, reaching for it... and it suddenly turns into a horrible daimon, with a cape and horrid mask! "SCAR!" she cries out! Amy and Serena get there..."MOON COSMIC POWER!" "MERCURY STAR POWER!" Mercury and Moon make their speech, but Scar just wraps ribbons around poor Lita, trying to kill her! "SHINE AQUA ILLUSION!" cries Mercury, freezing the ribbons and freeing Lita. Above, Kaori tells Scar to retreat...to the side, Uranus and Neptune realize that Lita's the next target. "We need to watch her. Sacrifice is the only way," Uranus remarks. "Why don't we join them? Find the crystals together!" Neptune exclaims. Uranus remarks, "No. This job is way over their heads."... Serena goes to pick up Lita from school, but she's already left! Running, she cries out, "hey...LITA! There you are!" when Amara and Michelle pull up in a classic old yellow Ferrari. "Hey, Lita, you want a ride? You're welcome to come." Getting starry-eyed again, she agrees, only to Serena's disappointment. "You can come to!" Serena looks shocked. "Umm...with your driving skills I have to say no." The three pull off... "Lita, this is my classmate Michelle." "It's nice to meet you, officially!" Michelle exclaims. Lita wonders, "So are you in third or fourth year high school?" "Actually, first," Michelle responds. "So how does Amara have a licence?" Michelle stammers, "...well, she's older than me, and...she got her licence overseas." "Uh...right," Amara complies. "How do you know each other?" Amara explains, "We're...cousins! We've been inseperable from birth. It's as if we can read each other's minds." "Wow...so what did you want to talk to me about?" "I want to be better friends with you," Amara starts (to Lita's blushing!), "since we don't have any real friends here."... "...so she ditched me and went in the car with Amara!" exclaims Serena to the other girls. "AMARA?" "She just ditched you like that?" yells Mina. "That's not the point!" cries Amy. "And we would've blown off ANOTHER study group for that?" yells Raye. Amy screams, "THAT'S NOT THE POINT!" She's red-faced as everyone is silent. "look, maybe we should watch out for Lita, she might be a heart snatcher's target."... "Lita, we want you to be okay. We'll be there soon," Amy says into the communicator. "Thanks, but really, I'm fine! Amara and Michelle are cool!" Lita smiles at them, and Amara smiles back. "I like being with Amara..." Serena yells at her in the phone, "Why'd you ditch me!" Everyone begins to yell in the phone as Lita shuts the communicator... but suddenly, daimon Scar comes up behind Lita and attacks her! Scar takes off her robe (Lita thinks that there's nothing under there, hee hee, but Scar is wearing clothing, thank god!), and Amara throws a rock at the mask, uncovering a beautiful face of the daimon! Scar uncovers her black star mark on her breast and shoots the ray at Lita..."HELP ME! PLEASE I BEG YOU STOP!!!! HELp me..." the pure heart comes out. Lita's eyes go cold as she falls... yet a yellow blast of energy knocks the pure heart away from Scar! it's Uranus and Neptune! Neptune takes the crystal...and still conscious, Lita thinks to herself "how dare they...how dare they just stand there while I was being attacked!" Suddenly, the other Sailor Soldiers arrive! "MARS CELESTIAL FIRE SURROUND!" "VENUS LOVE CHAIN ENCIRCLE!" the girls attack the daimon. Meanwhile, Mercury and Moon beg Uranus and Neptune, "PLEASE give back Lita's pure heart! It's vital!" As it was not a pure heart crystal, Uranus gives it back, and Lita is restored... "...Lita, you should rest!" cries Moon. "No! I have to pay them back! JUPITER STAR POWER!" Sailor Jupiter's now on the scene! Jupiter uses her attack, and then Moon finishes off the daimon!... but it's not over yet. Glaring at the two new soldiers, Jupiter cries, "You just steal pure hearts! You're no better than those monsters! You'll pay for this!" and she lunges at Uranus! But Uranus, stronger, just gives Jupiter a blow to the stomach! She falls to her knees as the two soldiers fly off..."She's strong," Uranus comments, as she has a cut on her hand... Amara and Michelle lay in the grass as Lita runs over to them. "Amara, are you OK?" "What...happened?" says Amara groggily. Michelle smiles, "Sailor Moon's team destroyed that monster!" Lita cries, "Amara, I'm so glad you're OK!" She falls into Amara's arms, crying. Noticing that she was injured, Lita ties up the wound with the purple scarf... All the girls (minus Lita) walk downtown, wondering where she is...they spot her in a store, trying on a dress, and a very familiar purple scarf! She poses in the mirror, satisfied... so Lita's pure heart was spared! But how divided are the two groups of Sailor Soldiers? Will they ever join?...
