episode 113: next in line Running, running through the rain, all Rini can think about are Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto's words. "She's the Sailor Scout of destruction, Sailor Saturn!" "We must destroy her!" Rini reaches Hotaru's house. "Hi there Rini..." but of course, no one is there. Hotaru's room has been completely cleaned out. "Hey Rini," says Trista, coming up behind her. "PLUTO! What have you done with Hotaru?" "No one was here when I got here." "That's not true! She wouldn't just leave on me, she's my best friend! You're lying!" Rini cries into Trista's comforting arms... at Darien's, the girls surround him on the computer. "What are you looking up?" wonders Serena. Darien explains, "I'm trying to get information on Dr. Tomoe. Here it is! Dr. Souichi Tomoe. A leading scientist in the field of genetics, and a professor at Mugen School." "Hey, that's where Amara and Michelle go!" Raye realizes. Lita notes, "Hotaru, too." Amy explains, "It's a high class school, only teaching elite students. It is a 60 story building, houseing first grade through college!" Darien suddenly looks up. "Listen to this! Dr. Tomoe isn't only a professor at Mugen, but the OWNER of the school!" Amy suggests that they check it out...when Trista comes in with a sobbing Rini. "Rini! You're soaking wet! Let me get your clothes!" Serena jumps, but Darien looks sympatheically at his daughter's tearing eyes. Trista begins, "There is much you should know. Dr. Tomoe is the owner of Mugen School. As we belive that he is connected with the heart snatchers, Uranus and Neptune enrolled there as students." "As spies?" Luna suggests. Trista goes on, "For now, we know that Hotaru Tomoe is Sailor Saturn." "It's NOT FAIR! You CAN'T kill Hotaru, you CAN'T!" Rini cries into Darien's arms. "She's a GOOD GIRL!" Serena supposes to Trista, "She may be the Sailor Scout of destruction, but she's a friend!" Trista sighs, "That's why we didn't want you to get involved." "I found a new target for you, Dr.," Mimete speaks on the phone. "He's a Russian scientist [note: I didn't catch his name!] who should have a pure heart!" Tomoe stops her, "Wait on that one, Mimete." The flabbergasted Mimete hangs up...a green haired figure stands next to Tomoe. Mimete in the other room hooks up a listening machine. "Let's hear this," she says, listening to the conversation..."mimete has tried hard, but she has failed me, so now it's your turn, Telulu." Mimete screams to herself, "He thinks I CAN'T DO IT!!!" She looks up at a picture, acting as a dartboard, of Eudial. "I guess I'll be the one to use your great machine!"... The five girls are at the VERY imposing Mugen School building. "A Russian speaker is making a speech today about space, so it's an open house," Amy explains, "anyone is allowed in." "Perfect!" says Serena. Raye whispers, "I sense an evil presence here."...at Darien's, Darien has found another piece of information - "What's this? 'Huge fire at genetics lab! Only two survivors, Dr. Souichi Tomoe and his eldest daughter!' How strange..." He notices that Rini's covers have come undone, and tucks her back in, his face full of worry... inside the building, the girls all stoop over a corner, watching out for people. A hand pokes Mina in the butt. "Hey, Lita, stop!" Another poke. "Just SAY it!" Another! It's a security guard! "Eh.." Lita freezes up, and Mina turns around to see the scary guard! They all fall flat to the other wall. The deep throated man says, "What are you doing here?" "We..umm...are here for the lecture...but we got lost," Lita stammers. The security guards points the way, and they all leave..."You FOGOT something!" Serena is still on the ground - "I can't seem to move right now!" *sweat drop*...Mimete now approaches the security guard, carring a big bag. "Hey, you! I need to check your bag!" But Mimete just gives him an electric shock! "Sorry about that, but I have work to do!" Meanwhile, the partially sillouetted Telulu watches from the shadows... "...so you see, there are paralell universes to ours, like this nebula here. Now imagine that it runs paralell to us, we don't see it, and it doesn't see us. Imagine that this universe had life!" the professor lectures...in a hidden room, Amara and Michelle look up files on Dr. Tomoe, when Trista walks in. "Serena and the girls have been watching the school as well."...in the main lab, Tomoe watches the lecture in glee. He walks up to a strange platic container, mist all around it. "The time is approaching..."...at the Sovereign's seat, the Sovereign of Silence, a.k.a. Hotaru, has a troubled sleep... *dream sequence* "...since the genetics lab can be dangerous, I built a special room just for this," a younger Tomoe explains. Hotaru is by his side, she must be about 8 or so. "Hotaru, don't get so close to the glass." But suddenly, a black form begins to take shape in the glass conatiner of the room! A tremendous explosion! Tomoe stands, hair covering one eye, tattered, a dead Hotaru in his arms...everyone else as well is dead! "HOTARU! ANSWER ME! NO!!!!" A voice from that black form. "Do you want to save her?" "Yes! You can? Please, I don't care about myself, just save her!" "Fine, then, I'll just take ove your body!" The black enters Tomoe's other eye...and there stands Dr. Tomoe as we know him, cackling, with the star outline on one eye! "Our mission will be completed!!" *end of dream*... At the Mugen lecture hall, the lights suddenly go out! "Sorry, the professor has to go now!" Mimete stands on the stage! "It feels so good to be up here...you're a great audience! And here'a my great act - STAGE FRIGHT!" She uses her staff to paralyze the audience (a.k.a. the Charm Buster attack). "Step up, daimon!" A very cool daimon with blue hair comes out. "U-pasucom, get his pure heart!" Outside, we hear his screams, as do the girls...the Sailor Scouts arrive! Mercury - "This man works for our futures!" Jupiter -"He's important to humanity!" Venus - "Scouts of Love and Justice..." Mars - "In the name of the Moon we'll punish you!" Moon - "NOW what do I say?"...the daimon begins an attack using computer mice! These turn into REAL mice and being to strike! Jupiter and Mars batter their opponent down, but the other three are knocked out by the "Stage Fright!" Suddenly, Tuxedo Mask comes in, with a visitor... "PINK SUGAR HEART ATTACK!" With the daimon now distracted, Moon can go to work - "MOON CRISIS POWER! RAINBOW MOON HEART ACHE!" The daimon is destroyed! "Hah," laughs Mimete, "you still haven't seen my greatest weapon!" On a computer, she types in some commands. "It's time...for the ELECTIRC WARP!" And suddenly, Mimete disappears...and reappears on the hundred TV screens on the wall! "Do you like my new look?" she taunts. "Not only am I bigger, but my power is increased by 10 fold! Now get ready." She gives them an evil glare... when Telulu walks in! "Say, Mimete," she starts in a low voice, "you know why Eudial never used that machine? Because if someone was on the viewing screen when the plug was pulled out, they would be gone forever!" Telulu holds up the plug! "NO! TELULU! I'll APOLOGIZE! TAKE MY JOB, JUST DON'T PULL THE PLUG!" Telulu smiles...and pulls it! We hear Mimete's scream, and the screens go black. Telulu disappears with a laugh. Mars wonders, "Why would they turn on each other?" Suddenly, Super Sailor Moon faints! "Just a little tired, that's all." She turns back into Sailor Moon, and looks on in horror at the scene before her...meanhwhile, in an aisle, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto look on... so Mimete was finally killed off! But how strong is this Telulu? And what will Uranus and the others do to Hotaru...!!
