episode 110: heightened hazard We see the image of Prince Darien against a sea of stars. "The three new Sailor Scouts have powers much greater than those of the other Scouts." An image of Uranus against the stars and the planet Uranus. "Sailor Uranus. Uranus protects the above world." Neptune against the planet Neptune. "Sailor Neptune. Neptune protect for the sea." Pluto looking sadly onto planet Pluto. "Sailor Pluto. Pluto protects the underworld." The three explain that they were given stronger powers than the other Scouts, in order to protect against outside forces. They've come from the past in order to fight the horrible evil..."I have a strange feeling about those three," says Raye. Darien nods. "We should probably fight seperately from them." Artemis begins to cry! "They're so alone, but they still fight for us!" "Here's a hankie," Mina hands one to him, and he sneezes. "Uh...thanks." At Witches '4', a VERY serious game of Twister is going on. Mimete and another sillouetted witch are going at it. "Maybe I'll actually win this time!" thinks Mimete. "I HAVE to, for Shawn!" We see a picture of Shawn in "Sportsman" magazine. Mimete holds out her leg, ready to strike - "Go Mimete! You can do it Mimete! Nothing's stopping you Mimete! Go for it Mimete!" she says to herself. Meanwhile, Dr. Tomoe looks...provocatively...at her from the corner. He finally interuppts, "You've been working hard, Mimete. I decided to hand this daimon over to you in person." He hands her the suitcase, and Mimete leaves...to the other witches, Tomoe smiles. "I'm going for the world record!" He begins to play and laugh manically, as usual... meanwhile, in Hotaru's room, the girl dreamily writes a letter. "Shawn Hayes...." on TV, we hear an announcer's cry - "And Hayes does it! He sets a world record! Even after a childhood stricked with illness! What a turnaround for Hayes!" Hotaru blushes as she writes her letter..."I never thought athletes were you're time." Hotaru turns around, startled to see Kaori laughing at her. "Get out of here!" Kaori just laughs rather meanly and leaves the room. Hotaru in the meantime addresses the letter to Shawn and puts it in a pink envelope, when Kaori appears AGAIN! "You're so STRANGE!" Hotaru yells. Kaori counters, "No, YOU'RE the strange one, Hotaru! You write letters and never mail them! That's strange isn't it?" Kaori leaves as Hotaru gets a very shocked and realizing expression on her face... "We have a visitor?" wonders Serena as she gets home. In a room, Hotaru apologizes to Rini for showing up without notice. "Not at all! Come anytime, you're always welcome!" Hotaru blushes. "Hey, it's Hotaru!" Serena comes in. "You didn't SERVE her yet?" "well, Mom wasn't home!" cries Rini. The two begin to argue and pull on each others' ears! But Hotaru just laughs, "I feel a lot of love in this house!"..."so you wrote a letter to Shawn Hayes?" asks Serena. "He's so cool!" Hotaru explains, "He's great. He had a sick childhood like me, but made himself into a star." "When are you mailing it?" wonders Rini. "Well...I decided not to. I don't know his address, and besides..." she trails off. Serena nods, understanding...but then shouts, "We can take it to him, in person! And you'll be able to meet him!" Hotaru is shocked by this proposition, but looks very happy at the idea!... at the stadium, Hotaru looks up in awe. "I'll be able to meet Shawn Hayes in here!"...meanwhile, Mimete, who is also in the stadium, sneezes a few times into a sign (which says in Japanese, "No Unauthorized Persons"), when she notices a security guard! The two smile at each other, and Mimete just thinks to herself, "I might have to crush more people than I thought!"...and in the stands, of course, are Amara, Michelle, and Trista. Trista looks sadly onto the field and thinks, "They may be after him..." "PLUTO!" Rini runs up to her. "You're not alone here, are you?" "No," Rini points down to the field, where security guards are chasing Hotaru and Serena! "Hotaru...Tomoe!" - Amara is in shocked horror!... "Hey! We didn't do anything wrong!" Serena yells at the three identical security guys. Suddenly, we hear a voice - "What's going on? Why are you after these ladies?" He walks in, and a light fills the air...Hotaru's eyes glimmer as Shawn walks up to her. Serena whispers, "HOTARU! Give him the LETTER! The LETTER!!" In the stands, Rini holds up a fan - "HOORAY FOR HOTARU! YOU CAN DO IT! GO FOR IT HOTARU!!!!!" A strange silence fills the air as the three security guys check their glasses. Hotaru holds up the letter...but retracts her hand. *slo-mo* Rini falls on her side. *out of slo-mo* "Hey! Why do THEY get to se Shawn? It's time for MIMETE!" And the witch Mimete appears on the field, upset! "Come out, daimon!" A very strange daimon, with running clothes on and a shell on her back, comes out, "Undokai". A huge ball is in front of Undokai...and she pushes it, fire forming in her path, literally! Using the ball, she traps the security people behind a door! "Now finish the job!"...the fire rages. In a whirl, Serena pulls Hotaru away...but the letter falls out of her hands, into the flame! "my letter..."...she is pulled over to the grandstand, weakened, shocked at her loss... "MOON COSMIC POWER!" Sailor Moon arrives, just in time - and so does Sailor Mini Moon! "I'll take care of that - three legged race!" shouts Undokai. A blue ribbon is shot out at the girls - and it ties their legs together! They try to run, but the bumbling girls just fall! And in the meantime, Undokai swallows up Shawn's pure heart! With their mission completed, the daimon and Mimete flee!...in the grandstand, Undokai sees an upset Hotaru. "Are you OK?" But Hotaru's eyes just begin to glow red... Undokai is pushed out the door, leaving a trail, cowering in her shell, all by Hotaru's power! "I'm lucky I had this shell," the daimon mutters...Trista, Amara, and Michelle stand, surveying the scene. Amara notes, "This power could be dangerous..."...Mini Moon gets on her side, confronting the hiding Undokai. "PINK SUGAR HEART ATTACK!" The hearts actually come out this time, striking the hapless daimon! With this opportunity, Moon strikes - "MOON CRISIS POWER!" "RAINBOW MOON HEART ACHE!" The daimon is destroyed, and Mimete flees again!... everyone gathers around Hotaru, who's on a stretcher on the ground. Her eyes blur as she wakes up, confronted by Shawn. "You should lay down!" says Serena, but she stays up. "Are you sick too?" asks Shawn. Hotaru says 'yes' sadly. "Really? Well, I was sick ever since I was little. But I had to overcome it, and I worked myself up to this point. I hope you'll do the same, and get some athletics into your life." Hotaru smiles. Shawn goes on, "You know, you're the only person to listen to me seriously. Thank you." The security guards, touched by this, take off their glasses and wipe their eyes...back home, alone in her room, Hotaru happily watches Shawn break another record. but Hotaru's power is still growing! Can it be contained? Who is she really?
