episode 106: rini's risky friendship I came home today and was really beat...here's the first mini-synopsis of the S season! - The episode starts out with Rini and Serena in a bath. Rini thinks happily about her new friend Hotaru, and they get into a water fight! - meanwhile, Darien (as Tuxedo Mask) and Amara, Michelle, and Trista (as Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto), converse. The three Scouts reveal that they, the Outer Planet Soldiers of the Silver Millennium, were the protectors of the Solar System, stopping any foes from outside the System. To them, it is their fault that the heart snatchers have escaped to Earth... - After getting presents and ideas from the girls, Rini and Serena make it to Hotaru's place. A woman answers the door...Kaori Night! But is it? Dr. Tomoe, Hotaru's father (!!), says that Kaori's his assistant, but she seems so nice...Serena comments, "There couldn't be an enemy in this house!"... - they meet up with Hotaru, who giggles at Rini and Serena's fighting. While in Hotaru's 'mysterious' room (it is illuminated only by lamps), the girl falls ill! She sees Serena's brooch and reaches out for it... - and she begins to speak like the Sovereign of Silence! She apologizes. They go off to a book signing downtown... - but of course, the pure heart target is the writer! Rini takes Hotaru off while Serena transforms into Sailor Moon. Moon tries to fight, but she is soon trapped... - when Pluto, Uranus, and Neptune arrive! They fight the daimon, but Uranus comments to Moon, "You're in the way!" The rest of the girls end up arriving, and Moon destroys it with the Rainbow Moon Heart Ache. Mask ends up saying to Uranus, "Our individual powers may be weak, but together we are a powerful asset to your cause." - the episode ends with Rini remembering her great new friend...but how mysterious is she? that's the episode!
