episode 104: the purity chalice The girls stand aside as Serena pleads with a barely conscious Sailor uranus. "Please, let us put your crystal hearts back in!" Uranus says weakly, "No...let it be...it should be this way." Uranus looks up and sees a beautiful figure in her mind..."Legendary princess..." "Who is this princess?" Mars demands. "If she gets the purity chalice...everything will be saved. But...if she doesn't..." We see an image of a dark figure turning the world into darkness, and the winged figure turning the world into a palace of light. "Find...the third crystal treasure for me..." Uranus closes her eyes..."NOOOOO!" is all Serena can cry. Mars feels for a pulse. "It's faint...but it's there. Barely there." Jupiter says, "So we should hurry then!"...But suddenly, a burst of flame comes between them all - it is Eudial! She runs through them and snatches the two treasures, placing the mirror in her breast and the saber in her pants pocket! "Hah! You don't stand a chance against my superpowered Fire Buster model II!" Serena, now with her brooch, knows what to do - "MOON COSMIC POWER!" She goes on, "I'll return the two treasures back, somehow!" But Eudial just laughs again and blasts a circle of fire around them! "Shine Aqua ILLUSION!" But the water has no effect, to Mercury's surprise! Mars goes, "Me next. I'll fight fire with fire! MARS CELESTIAL FIRE SURROUND!" But the flame only increases! "Don't Mars, it's worse now!" shouts Jupiter. "I hope you're having fun...ta ta!" Eudial flees!... when Tuxedo Mask breaks through the window, carrying Mini Moon! "Luna P...extinguish!" A cool mist extinguishes the flames as the girls thank them for coming. Tuxedo Mask goes on, "You should go after Eudial now!" The soldiers run off...except for Moon, who stands over the dying Uranus and Neptune. "uranus, Neptune...I swear that I'll get your crystal treasures back. Somehow." She looks back at Mask and runs off... *slo mo* Eudial runs through a dark hallway. She thinks, "I can't believe it!" More running. "I actually got two of the talismans!" *out of slo mo* But we see the 5 Scouts, running after Eudial. She takes out a gun - "Takes this gummy surprise!" A sticky liquid covers the floor, and the girls all get stuck! "I can't move!" Mercury cries out. "One step, two steps..." Mini Moon pases, but she falls onto her hands! She tries to go forward - but her face gets stuck in the goop! She tries to speak, but her mouth is covered! Jupiter and Venus fall to their knees as Eudial runs off...when Moon arrives! "Watch out, you'll be trapped!" warns Mars. Moon thinks for a minute - "Guys, pardon me!" She hops from body to body, jumping on her friends to aviod the liquid, and she makes it to the other side! "Great job," says Mini Moon, "stepping all over us like that!" "Just don't do it again," Mars grumbles. Moon says, "I'll go after Eudial now, guys." Venus threatens, "Get her, or we'll be playing soccer with you head! HURRY!". Moon runs down a corridor, Trista calmly watching from the shadows... Moon catches up to a very pissed Eudial. "Stop right there!" She gives a Moon-esque speech, and takes out her Scepter. Eudial laughs, "I beat your attack before, remember?" Moon cries, "I'll get back the treasures, even if it costs me my life! MOON SPIRAL HEART ATTACK!" "FIRE BUSTER!" The two attacks collide - and Moon's is defeated easily! "I told you, no one can defeat the power of the Fire Buster model II!" The silence is defeaning in the room. Moon looks up to a stained glass window, pleading to herself, helpless in her fight. Eudial says, seriously now, "You've interfered for the last time..." "Excuse me." Trista's voice echos. "Who are YOU?" exclaims Eudial. Moon says, "It's Trista Meiou! Why are you here?" "Eudial," she says calmly, "I'll take back the two heart crystals now." The other girls run in, and Mars wonders, "Who is she?" She holds up a staff... "PLUTO STAR POWER!" She swirls the purple staff around her body, and gray energy swivels around her...coming out of the energy, she poses with the Time Staff - Sailor Pluto!... "It's Sailor Pluto!" says Mini Moon with a slight awe. She holds up her staff, which has a jewel on top. "Eudial," Pluto says, "the last treasure!" She holds up the jewel - the last of the three treasure! The red jewel begins to glow red...and the two other treasures begin to float away from Eudial, glowing! "WAIT!!!" Eudial cries, but no matter! Pluto, her symbol now glowing on her forehead, stands as the other two treasures go on the opposite side, forming a triangle... Tuxedo Mask kneels over Uranus and Neptune, when their symbols glow as well! They disappear... to the room where Pluto stands! Uranus stands by the saber, and Neptune by the mirror. Pure hearts come out of each treasure, go back into their bodies - and they open their eyes! "Can it be?" wonders Uranus. Neptune says, "Yes! There are no victims needed after all, Uranus!" The two look at each other, grateful to be alive. Mars wonders, "Do these treasures have any power?" All three hold their treasures up - and a bright white light comes from each of them! The light shines everywhere, beginning to form a triangle of light... Somewhere. A dark room. A girl with black, purple tined hair clutches her chest. A black light surrounds her as she screams out in horrible pain... The light settles down from the treaures, forming a pyramid of light beams. At the top, a glowing cup - the Purity Chalice! "This is the Purity Chalice," Pluto explains. "Whoever holds it, good or evil, can determine the fate of the world. it is said to either lead to peace or ruin." They all stare up at the Chalice...when another blast of fire comes from Fire Buster II! "The Chalice will be mine!" The girls are all helpless behind the flames...but Moon breaks free! Though she is burnt, she says, "I CAN'T let her get it!" Somehow, someway, she catches up with Eudial, and it's a race for the Chalice. They both jump up! Moon pushed Eudial out of the way, and she touches the cup... and a warm pink light fills the room from Moon's Silver Crystal, escaping through the windows, pushing Eudial down to the ground. Moon holds up the Chalice - and it opens, releasing a flowing white light! Iridescent butterflies fly out, covering her, and she comes out of the light! She has on a white, blue, and yellow skirt, and has transparent frills on her sleeves and coming off of her skirt! White pins adorn her hair - Super Sailor Moon! "A new transformation!" says Mask, in shock. Meanwhile, Mini Moon gets the same pins, which she feels. In desperation, Eudial cries, "FIRE...BUSTER!!" But Moon just holds up her hand - and the fire is repelled back towards Eudial! She falls out of the cathedral...Uranus is astonished. "Is she the one who can save the world?"... The burnt Eudial gets into the car, as pissed as one can get. "OHHH, they'll pay! They'll ALL SEE!" Enraged, she puts the pedal to the floor - when we hear Mimete's voice! "We're so disappointed in your failure, Eudial!" Eudial is steaming mad, and chews her out. She approaches a turn - but the brakes are gone! A note - "'Don't be surprised if the brakes are destroyed by acidic snails!' MIMETE!" But it is too late. The car falls off the cliff as Mimete's voice says wishes her well. Eudial, at last, is dead... But Moon's new power escapes her. Her new outfit fades, leaving the old one. "She's...not the one?" wonders Uranus. "The one is supposed to have unfathomable power, which Moon does not." Neptune nods in approval. "We have a new mission." Pluto looks on sadly as this is realized... The lab. Mimete walks into the room, where Tomoe laughs manically. "Bad news," she says. "The Scouts got the Chalice!" But he keeps laughing. "What's so funny?" Tomoe explains, "Well, Eudial, if any of them could control the Chalice, this lab and everything we've created would be destroyed! BUT LOOK! NOT A CRACK!" Mimete says enticingly, "I think...there's someone near you who can control it." Tomoe smiles, "Oh...YES..." The dark room. The girl shivers, whimpering in pain. Her hair covers her eyes as she cries into the night... so the Chalice was finally revealed! But who is this legendary princess? And who is this girl?...
