episode 102: no turning back This episode premiered English episode previews and a new opening. [preview] (something to the extent of) Mina's upset because she hasn't been targeted for a pure heart soon! Will she be the next target? Find out! [OP] The OP has images from all three movies, and the logo "Sailor Moon S". It's still the horrible English theme song, though... Eudial calls Tomoe. "I got some info on the purity chalice," she says. "There seems to be an outline of a person, but I can't tell who it is." "Well, Eudial, this means that someone is getting closer to obtaining the purity force! Our first objective would be to send the world into darkness." We see a silouetted, long hair woman with a polearm holding up a black ball of energy, and the world being obliterated!! "THE WORLD WILL BE MINE!" He holds the phone up - and breaks it! "That'll come out of your pay," says Eudial. To himself, Tomoe says, "I'd like to make those Sailor Scouts pay dearly..." "I finished!" Serena says with joy! "Wow, it's a record time for you!" Lita smiles. The girls are at Raye's studying, and Serena just finished a math problem! All the girls cheer as Amy looks it over. "I'm sorry...but this is totally wrong," my says regrettably. "WHAT? It CAN'T BE!" "At least you worked hard," says Mina. "But it doesn't matter! It's wrong! I'll never get this right!" Serena cries. But Raye slams the table. "That's ENOUGH!" Silence. "Don't you remember what it was like to get your heart crystal taken? Compared, this is nothing!" All the girls think about it...except for Mina, who begins to tear up... Mina sits on a swing outside at dusk, head down. "Mina, what's wrong?" asks Artemis. Mina says, "Serena, Amy, Raye, AND Lita have been pure heart targets - but I haven't!" "Are you pure?" wonders Artemis, and Mina gives him a LOOK. "But that's impossible!" he laughs. Mina sighs, "Maybe they think my heart's out of shape, since I don't play volleyball anymore." "You don't WANT to be attacked...?" "No, not really..." Mina sighs into the night... the school gym. Mina, determined, gets to the rack of volleyballs, and hits them like crazy. One, two, three, WHAK, they're pummeled by the focused player...she pants and looks satisfied as the last ball is hit, when she notices something - "SERENA!" Serena lies on the ground, bruised and with teeth missing! "Oh, I'm fine," she says, and the scars formon her face. "Why did you come?" "I heard you were down, so..." says Serena..."Were you upset because you weren't targeted yet?" Serena asks. "Oh, no! Why would I be upset! That's silly!" Mina laughs with rainbow eyes, smiling..."But they should've targeted me, my heart is purer than anyone's!" she says, face low, gray, scary looking...outside the arcade. they approach a crane game. "You're OK, right?" "Sure! Never better!" *scary face* "But they should've gotten me already, they must be dumb if they haven't targeted me yet." Serena gets serious, "You don't WANT to get targeted, DO YOU!?" "No..." "You CAN'T GET TARGETED, you CAN'T!" Serena grabs her friend, chokes her and thrusts her against the machine! "Say that you WON'T!" "I'll get my heart back!" says Mina hopefully. Serena starts the barrage again, when they notice that the crane has grabbed EVERY TOY IN THE MACHINE! "Jackpot," the girls sigh in shock... They walk down the street when Luna tries to comfort Mina. "They say 'pure', but Serena 'purely' loves to goof off. And she 'purely' can't do well in school or pay attention." "That's cruel!" Serena mutters. "I'm FINE! Uh, Serena, can you do me a favor?" "Sure," she replies. Mina says, "Take half of these toys."...a bookshop. Mina has picked out a book entitled "Pure Heart" (in Japanese of course, "Pyua no Kokoro"). She reads from it, "'A pure heart is a state of mind when concentrating with enthusiasm.' I have that! I should be the next target!" We see Amara and Michelle - and they see the title of the book! "Do you think she knows about the purity force?" wonders Michelle when Mina says to them, "What do you think makes a pure heart?" They are shocked. Amara - "wha..." Michelle - "Wha...!" Mina - "...What makes someone have purity?" "That person would be a target," says Amara. "What she MEANT," Michelle covers up, "is that they would target people to be kind and give to!" "Be kind and give," Mina repeats. We see a truck pull by - "Donate blood! Give the gift of life!" Amara suggests, "Maybe donating blood would be..." But Mina bolts out of the store! Amara and Michelle begin to walk out, but Mina comes in and hands them each a toy! She bolts out again. Michelle wonders, "They call THESE prizes?"... Eudial calls Tomoe. "Hello, Doctor, I've found someone with a 'special' pure heart. Make sure the Scouts don't interfere with us this time." Tomor begins to cut off the doorknob to a door. "Don't worry, I'm making a special daimon just for that purpose." He puts the doorknob into the machine. Away Eudial goes!... Meanwhile, a very energetic Mina runs downtown towards a blood doning stand. "Take my blood! I want to help! Take it ALL!" After the injection, she sits hapily on the doctor chair, thinking, "I'm so pure."...hiding in the buses are Amy, Lita, Raye, and the cats. "I hope she's OK," says Raye. "I'm more worried that she'll become a pure heart target!" says Amy. Artemis jumps in, "I'm sure she'll do what she can to avoid it..." The girls faces are blank as they all nod, hopeful... Serena catches up to Mina. "These are some vitamins to give you an extra boost!" "Thanks Serena, let's go!" They walk off a little when Serena says, "Mina, I'm a little worried. Are you taking it too far -"...when Eudial sees her target - Mina! Taking out the gun, she extracts Mina's pure heart! Mina's head falls... but somehow, despite the fact that she SHOULD be unconscious or dead, she lifts her head, eyes blurred, and smiles! "My pure heart was...taken out! I...got one!" Serena says, scared, "All right Mina, we can put it back in now..." Mina laughs again. "I GOT ONE!" And she runs off with her pure heart! Eudial immediately goes after her, as does Serena - but the other girls are tripped up by all the vitamin bottles! Meanwhile, Amara and Michelle see the crisis, and too run off to get to the next pure heart... in a parking garage, Eudial has finally caught up with the desposed target, who now lay lifeless on the floor. Mina's heart cyrstal floats above her body. "Don't touch her!" shouts Serena, standing in the doorway. Amara and Michelle watch from a hidden spot in the room. "Oh, you think you're a Scout or something? There's nothing you can do for her now!" Eudial laughs. "Step up, heart snatcher!" out comes a leather clad daimon, "Doorknob-der!" Eudial commands Doorknob-der to lock up the place, and the daimon locks up every single opening, and she forms an impenetrable door on one side! "Oh, more party crashers?" We see Amara and Michelle! Eudial gets closer to the pure heart and Serena thinks to herself, "I've GOTTA help her! But I can't transform in front of Amara and Michelle!" And Amara and Michelle want to transform too, "They'll get the pure heart! But then Serena will know!" She is about to get to it... and Serena, in an act of courage, takes out her locket. "MOON COSMIC POWER!" Sailor Moon stands before them now, and all Amara can do is sigh, "I can't believe it..." But Eudial commands the daimon to get Moon! "Umm...I can't. I can only lock up, not FIGHT!" "DOORKNOB-DER!" Eudial screams. "Fine, fine." The daimon lunges at Moon, and presses her body with a steel door! She can't escape, but who can help her? Eudial reaches for the pure heart...when the two dolls Mina gave to Amara and Michelle are thrown at Eudial! Amara remarks, "We have no choice...URANUS STAR POWER!" "NEPTUNE STAR POWER!" "URANUS WORLD SHAKING!" The blast shoots Eudial right out of her lab coat!... Neptune picks up the heart crystal. "Give it back, PLEASE!" Moon pleades. Neptune smiles, "Don't worry, it's not the one!" She gives it back gently. And Moon stands, ready to do her thing..."get her!" the daimon cries, pointing at her master! "MOON...SPIRAL..." the daimon gets pushed out of the way! "HEART..." Eudial starts up a machine. "FIRE..." "ATTACK!" "BUSTER!" The two attacks of love and fire hit each other - and Moon's is deflected towards the daimon, who is destroyed! The other Scouts, who were trying to get in, are now free to enter. Eudial laughs. "My attack beat Moon's greatest power! Now gather up here, or else your friend here (Mina) will be toasted!" All 6 Scouts line up... but there's still Mina! "VENUS STAR POWER!" Venus stands in front of Eudial, who's in total shock! "VENUS LOVE CHAIN ENCIRCLE!" The chain breaks the 'Fire Buster' machine, and Eudial drives off!... Uranus and Neptune walk off. Moon cries, "Uranus, Neptune WAIT! Or should I say Amara and Michelle..." The girls are S.H.O.C.K.E.D. as the two Soldiers turn around. "Tell me, what are these pure hearts with powers and why do you need them? Why are they more important then the carriers themselves!?" Uranus says, "Don't get involved." The two walk away..."Amara and Michelle are Uranus and Neptune? Why didn't I see it?" wonders Mars. Jupiter thinks to herself, "WHY won't they join us?"...Haruka's car in twilight. Amara remarks, "There's no turning back now..." so now everyone knows everyone's true identites! How will this play out? Will a pure heart crystal appear soon?...
