episode 100: art appreciation "I need something sweet!" Serena says to herself, rummaging through the kitchen. "Ah-HAH!" There's a baking apple pie in the oven! "This is great!"...in her bedroom, the girls are thrilled by the sight of the pie! "You didn't make it, did you?" wonders Mina. "No, my mom must've!" "GOOD," Raye sighs, "It should be safe to eat." The girls all start pigging out...when Rini comes in. "Did you see the apple pie that was...oh, NO!" She sees everyone eating it. "We didn't know..." Amy tries to explain. Raye suddenly rises and poses. "There will be justice. In the name of Mars, you will be punished, Serena, for not finding out whose cake that was!" Rini cries out, "I can't believe you! You eat the pie I made for Masanori!" "Who's Masanori?" wonders Serena. But Rini blushes! "Umm...it's not important. Bye! And by the way, Serena, I hate you." She leaves and runs off..."Where's she going?" the girls wonder. "She has an art class over at the school," Serena responds. Amy suddenly says, "She left the pie...so we can eat it, right?"... The school. A nicely dressed boy, holding 12 roses, waits nervously at the gate. Curious, Rini hides behind some garbage cans. "Why does he have those?" We see a woman walking over. A light blue dress...a dark blue sash - it's Michelle! "Hi, Masanori!" "Umm...hi, Miss Michelle." Rini gasps! "These are for you..." he stammers. "They're red, the most romantic color!" Michelle says how sweet that is - and gives him a kiss on the cheek! "NOOOOOOOOO!" Rini cries to herself, and kicks over a can. "Oh Rini, I didn't know you were here!" says Michelle. "Well, come on, Masanori and Rini, you don't want to be late!" Masanori blindly follows, but Rini is P***ED!!! "So I have some competition..." inside the school, all the students are working on clay statues. Masanori works diligently at an angel figure, and Rini is making..."I need help!" "Tell me what it is," asks Masanori. Rini says, "Well, it's this 'purity chalice' thing. I saw a picture of it in my mom's room! It has a moon, and a crown, and jewels all over!" Masanori looks focused. "Maybe if you do this -" and in an instant, the thing really looks like a 'purity chalice', moon and all! "You're great, Masanori!"... outside, Serena and Luna peep through the window. "It seems like they're working well together! Why am I spying on them then?" Serena whines. Luna goes, "Well, you wrecked the pie she made for him! I think they're more than friends, and you wrecked it!" She sees Michelle inside. "Maybe she's the art teacher," wonders Luna...Michelle comes over to Masanori, helping Rini. "You know, you learn faster if you do things alone. You shouldn't help her, Masanori. The faster you finish, the faster we move on!" Sheepishly, he returns to his own work. And Rini's face is red in anger...Serena and Luna peep through again, watching Rini try to get closer to Masanori. Yet Masanori's angel statue is actually an angel with the face of Michelle... "Dr. Tomoe here." "Ah, your orders of pizzas are ready! Burning hot!" Tomoe looks puzzled. "that's good," he laughs into the phone, and hangs up...he tries again. "Eudial?" "Eudial here. Is anything wrong?" "No...did you find a target?" A picture of an angelic figure appears on the screen. "What's this?" Tomoe wonders. Eudial says, "This is the work of a 10 year old! Masanori Suzuki. He must mave a pure heart!" "The purity chalice will be OURS!" the doctor cries, a picture of the chalice behind him. (The chalice looks exactly like Rini's....) He puts cutting knives in the container and lets it fly... In a back room of the studio, Michelle paints a lovely picture of a mermaid. "I haven't seen Eudial lately," Amara comments. "Good! That means I can get to work." Amara looks over and sees flowers in a vase. "Who gave you those? Mike?" "No..." "I thought maybe you got together or something." "No! And now, you seem to be jealous!" Michelle laughs. Amara says, "No...but your guys are intellegent, strong, athletic..." "This person isn't any of those things! And you're jealous," Michelle replies. "You shouldn't be jealous of a kid in the class!"... Inside the studio, Serena plays cupid. She grabs the kids' hands - "Masanori, this is Rini! I want you both to be good friends! You will, right?" Masanori blushes. "Uh, yeah, is she your sister or something?" "You could call her that..." Rini replies. Masanori blushes again, "...be back in a minute." He runs off. "SERENA! GET AWAY!" Rini cries! "Here's your chance! Go after him!" Rini screams at her, "No! I don't WANT your help! You're ruining EVERYTHING!" Rini threatens to stomp on Serena's foot... when suddenly, Eudial's car crashes though the building! "Who are you and what do you want?" cries out Masanori. Eudial looks at her target. She smiles, "This won't hurt!", and extracts his heart crystal!...Amara opens the window. "I guess it's time to fight again," sighs Michelle. Amara adds cheerfully, "This is our mission. URANUS STAR POWER!" "NEPTUNE STAR POWER!" Sailors Neptune and Uranus make the scene... Eudial holds the pure heart with glee. Rini is fuming. "You can't transform here, you'll reveal everything!" shouts Luna. "I don't need to transform!" She runs out and bites Eudial in the wrist, grabbing the heart crystal! "Now, LITTLE GIRL, give the crystal back to Auntie Eudial..." "NO! I'd never give you my friend's good heart!" But suddenly, Uranus snatches it out of her hands! "Oh, no...give it back! Please!" uranus looks up. "You can have it," starts Neptune, "since it's not the one," finishes Uranus. Uranus tosses it back, and Rini gently gives it back to Masanori. Masanori, barely concsious, thinks to himself, "I've found my princess..." "My job is done here! Come out, heart snatcher!" A very odd daimon, multicolored and UGLEE, comes out and poses, "The CHISLER!" Eudial sighs and leaves...the monster takes out cutting knives and throws them at Neptune and Uranus! "We don't have the advantage in here," Neptune notices. The two do a flip, and they are outside, the daimon chasing them..."MOON PRISM POWER!" "MOON COSMIC POWER!"... meanwhile, Uranus goes man to man against Chisler. "It's not very strong," she laughs. Chisler sits down and begins to sculpt - "Creation 0001! Destroy!" A spiky monster-creation attacks Uranus! "Creation 0002! Go forth!" A round monster-creation goes after Neptune! The daimon laughs, "Art SHOULD be avant-garde!"...but here come Moon and Mini Moon, giving a speech! "DOUBLE SAILOR MOON KICK!" The two charge, but Chisler just traps them in a whirlwind of materials!... the monster chasing Neptune, she thinks fast. As it chases her, she jumps into a tree - and the monster runs into the water! "It's dissolving...it's weak point is water, Uranus!" "FINALLY!" Uranus flings the other monster into the lake, and it is destroyed. "You don't like water either, do you?" laughs Neptune. "Waters of Neptune...DEEP SUBMERGE!" The attack melts the daimon! "I should've used waterproof clay, but it's so expensive!" the daimon whines. Mini Moon goes at it. "PINK SUGAR HEART ATTACK!" Nothing. "What're you waiting for?" asks Moon. Suddenly, the pink hearts fly out, harming the daimon! "All right," smiles Moon. "MOON SPIRAL HEART ATTACK!" The daimon is destroyed! Uranus and Neptune jump off with a smile... later, Rini and Masanori walk down the street, holding hands. "See you tomorrow, Miss Rini." Rini laughs, "You can just call me 'Rini'!" He hands her a bag. "This is a present!" She opnes it - and it's a statue of her! He runs out as she smiles away..."IT'S SO EXCITING! RINI HAS A BOYFRIEND!" the girls chant behind her. "It is...but you still owe me an apple pie!" *sweat drop* Raye says, "Serena never asked, so SHE has to bake another one!" Serena freaks out and jumps into a lightpost. "Will you forgive me NOW?" "NEVER NEVER NEVER!". The girls laugh into the sunset... so Rini's love was saved! But how desperate will Eudial become? Who has the crystals?...
