characters in s(uper) Here are the characters in the third season: Serena - in S, Serena as Sailor Moon gains a great deal of power, and Serena herself a lot of maturity. What she does through here is truly a sad event, one that may lead to her sacrifice...Sailor Moon gets a new attack, "Moon Spiral Heart Attack", and when she turns Super, she gets a new transformation as well as a new attack. Amy - Amy is busy studying for the high school exams, and so she doesn't have much time to play...her relationship with Amara and Michelle, however, seems to grow more than the others' (except for Serena's). No new powers for Mercury here. Raye - Raye goes through much turmoil in S, as she is the only one of the Sailor Team to know the coming of the Silence. She tries to conceal her sadness, only to have it come out in full force at the end of the season. No new powers for Mars. Lita - Lita looks up to Amara, but Amara doesn't seem to want anything to do with her. Lita, too, is melancholy here, as she feels that she has no power or purpose...once she is uplifted, all the girls are brought down by the awakening of the purity force and another new battle. No new powers for Jupiter. Mina - Mina, too, feels like she shouldn't be a Soldier at one point, and feels empty at another point...and then she too is brought down by the idea of the Silence. She tries hard to be her cheery self, but at the end, none of them can be too happy...and no new powers for Venus, either. Rini - Rini's back! And better than ever, I should say. Now able to transform into Sailor Mini Moon, she can actually fight in the Soldiers' battles, however little she can help. Later on, she finds a friend, and this friendship will change the course of history...Mini Moon has one (futile) attack, "Pink Sugar Heart Attack". Darien - he realizes how important high school exam studying is, and often goats Serena into studying. other than that, he isn't too important in the series, besides a confidence booster to Rini and Serena... New characters! Amara - a tall, fair-haired, very manly-looking girl, she is tough and resilient. As Sailor Uranus, she looses her playful spirit and realizes the sacrifices that need to be made, no matter how painful they may be. She is a world-champion racer and runner, but her mission to find the three pure heart crystals always takes center stage...Uranus has one potent power, "Uranus World Shaking". Michelle - the beautiful, smart, and talented violinist and painter, Michelle Kaiou is actually the levelheaded soldier of the oceans, Sailor Neptune. She is perhaps more lenient on the other girls than her partner Uranus is, but also knows how necessary the sacrifices are. As Neptune, her power is called "Neptune Deep Submerge". Trista - first appearing as Trista Meiou, a "friend" of Uranus and Neptune, she is actually the mysterious and powerful Sailor Pluto, the guardian of time. As Trista, she is very mysterious and calm, but feels a special connection with Serena and the others, esepcially for Rini. She only truly joins Uranus and Neptune after Rini is kidnapped. As Pluto, she is very strong. Her attack is "Pluto Deadly Scream". Hotaru - Hotaru Tomoe, a very weak but kindly girl, is befriended by Rini, her first true friend in the world. Sadly, a hidden power lies within her, something evil...and of course, being Dr. Tomoe's daughter is no help either. Later becoming a minion of the heart snatchers, the spirit of Hotaru still lives inside of her, and it will awaken into the most deadly for of her of all...Sailor Saturn... Heart Snatchers - the heart snatchers are the latest enemies of Sailor Moon. They are after the three pure heart crystals, which will eventually form the Purity Chalice. They consist of Dr. Tomoe, the main lackey of the snatchers, who creates the daimons which attack their victims, Kaori Night, Tomoe's assistant who is later reborn with his help, daimon pods, monsters that attack the holders of pure hearts, and the Witches 5 who are Eudial, Mimete, Telulu, Biruet, and Cyprine/Peirol.
