EXPLAIN

You probably want to know what this site is all about, and why it was started. And even if you don't, you're on the explanation page, so find out anyway =).

In January 1999, I started my huge SM site, the bssmc, and in February of that year, I decided to write episode summaries of the episodes on TV. Why? Well, SM had recently been put on Cartoon Network, and since I was home to watch it and others weren't, I figured that it'd be nice to write a little synopsis of what happened that day. I started with the second to last episode of Classic, and proceeded to write summaries of every single episode.

But I didn't use HTML when I wrote these summaries, just Geocities' Java stuff. And the layout was awful. A few months ago, say, September 1999, I learned HTML, and realized how much better I could do...

I redid some of my site, making categories, using HTML and more advanced design, and got tons of hits. But the many episode summaries were neglected...

until now. They've gotten on my serves so much that I've decided to redo them all. And with the coming dubbed S and SuperS episodes, I figured, why not branch this thing off into an episode database? So I did, and the sailor moon episode center (smec) came into being.

On this site, I feature revamped summaries of every single dubbed episode made. When the new episodes come out in July, I will write summaries for them as well. The site also features introductions, character synopsis, and changes from the original for each season.
