head back home.

sigh, another arigato...and i've had a long time to think about this one, over 8,000 hits worth of time. within this time, i've thought about a lot, mainly, why do i even maintain this site? it gets me nowhere in the end, right? right?

so i stopped for a while, not updating the episode of the day, not even caring about the latest news, and checking my e-mail more infrequently. and you'd think i'd be happy...but i definitely WASN'T. why? this site's become a part of my life! all of my sites mean so much to me, but this one...this one is something special, i think, something i need to hold on to as long as i can.

because while other sites may live and die, i think this one does something unique - provide a true database, a library of information on something that would otherwise be difficult to come by, dub episode summaries. SM info sites are common, so are image galleries (not like i'm saying anything against these kinds of sites!!), but this is an original. seeing people copy me doesn't make me mad - it makes me happy, as i know that i'm well-established and have actually done something useful, something that people seem to enjoy!

and so i'll continue to work on this site, and all of my sites, as long as i can. a few thank yous - to Pioneer, for finally giving the SM fan what they've pleaded for, uncut SMS and SMSS; tori-chan, for her drawings, dub-bashing and overall moral support of a friend; Ambrosia K, for being my friend and SM information source, as well as the best evil seiyuu in the world!; sailorsaturn, who's given me ideas and a partner online; of course naoko-sama, the creator of the show, without which the shoujo genre of anime would have fallen into oblivion; and YOU, the person who's come to the site, who's inspired me to keep on going forever.

i'll be here for a while...
