Chapter VI: The Nemesis Awakens (New Face of Evil)

The idea to become Sailor Nemesis had been brewing in Onyx’s head actually for quite a while, since she had first seen Sailor Moon, but only now, with her hatred caught up in a rage, could she fulfill this. I have the power, I have the evil inside. But I gotta look the part, right?

So she donned a new look. She copied the Sailor Scouts’ outfits with a few modifications: the outfit was indeed black, a bow in the middle was midnight blue, and the middle of the bow was blood red; her boots were tall, lace up in black; she converted her onyx necklace into a power stick which, while supplying her with extra power, would allow her to transform. And so, black hair shining, red streaks glowing, darkness in wait, the Sailor of evil, Sailor Nemesis, was born. ,I>But now I need to capture those loathsome Sailor Scouts, somehow getting all of the crystals together at once. How should I do this...I got it! I’ll let Beryl and the Scouts do the work for me.

Nemesis realized that Beryl and her generals would soon attack the Sailor Scouts in order to get the stolen rainbow crystal. And she was sure that a new Scout would come soon, she could feel it. Whoever won that oncoming battle would gain control of four rainbow crystals! Yeah, and I’ll just have to take those crystals, won’t I? Hah! She was ready...

A few days later...

Onyx sensed an enormous energy surge. Grinning maliciously, she transformed herself into Sailor Nemesis, shouting "Nemesis Onyx Transform!", using the onyx power stick, then ran off to the site. And when she got there, she saw an amazing battle...

The four Sailor Scouts were captured, and not even Sailor Moon could stop the Negaverse’s rampage. All seemed lost for the warriors, until, suddenly, out of the shadows...

"Halt right there! I can’t let this go on!" A figure appeared out of the darkness, wearing disguising glasses -

"In England, I was the stunning superheroine Sailor V! But I’m here now, ready to fight. I am - Sailor Venus! Guys, I’m on my way!" she took off the glasses, revealing her face to all.

Sailor Moon and the others cheered her on, especially the "fearless" leader. "Oh my god, it’s Sailor Venus! We’re over here! You’ve got to free us!"

Mercury, Mars, and Jupiter chimed in. "Yeah, Venus! Over here! We need your help!"

The Venus saw that they were being held captive via a forcefield. "Easy enough!" she said. "Here goes... Venus Crescent Beam Smash!" and a beam of light energy was sent down towards the forcefield, destroying it.

Sailor Moon stood up and turned towards the Negaverse cronies. "So you think it’s that easy to get rid of us? We are the Sailor Scouts! And on behalf of all life, I suggest that you hand over the rainbow crystals. Right now!"

And of course, a battle soon raged. Sailor Nemesis watched in anticipation as the Scouts used their combined powers...

"I call upon the power of Mars...Fireballs...Charge!" and the enemy was frozen in place.

"Venus Crescent Beam Smash!"

"Jupiter Thunder Crash!"

"Mars Fire Ignite!"

"Mercury Bubbles Blast!" and the combined forces struck the current Negaverse general, weakening him.

Mercury yelled, "Sailor Moon, do it now!"

"All right!" Moon looked determined. "Moon Tiara Magic!" and the enemy was vanquished, leaving the three rainbow crystals behind.

Jupiter picked them up, placing them with the one they already had. "Well, that makes four." She smiled. "All thanks to you, Sailor Venus!"

Venus blushed. "Just doing my job!"

Oh brother, what a sap fest. But at four of the crystals are together, with the Sailor Scouts...And now, I just need to get the Scouts and Tuxedo Mask together at once, so that the crystals will be as well. Then I can strike. Is there any way to plan this?...

The next day... Sailor Nemesis decided to revert back to her earthly form and return to school, plotting and planning. Walking down a hallway, she noticed that Serena, Amy, Lita, and Mina were all walking together, chatting as if they had been friends from birth. Strange. Lita only got here a few days ago, and Mina just arrived back from England yesterday! What’s going on? I must analyze this.

From that point onwards, Onyx spied on her targets, carefully watching their movements. There’s something about them, something that I must find out... The girls never even noticed that anyone was tailing them...

All of a sudden, Serena’s cat, who she surprisingly called Luna (like Sailor Moon called her cat), ran up to them, talking! Onyx gasped. A talking cat! Oh that’s MIGHTY suspicious... They all hurried into a corner and the girls discussed something. Then, in a rush, they all started running towards the east side of town, towards the Cherry Hill Temple, they temple that Onyx had first met Raye at. Onyx knew it was time...

"Nemesis Onyx Transform!" and in a stunning display, the once "innocent" girl had yet again became Sailor Nemesis.

She knew that she had to reach the temple before the girls in order to spy on them, and she knew just how to do it. "Nemesis Dark Star Transport!" she shouted, and immediately vanished into thin air...

A few minutes later, the four girls arrived at the temple and met the girl Raye, while the newly arriving Sailor Nemesis lay waiting in shadow. They all went into the building of worship, and the evil scout held her ear close to the window, hoping to hear their conversation:

"I can’t believe it! We actually got all four of them! Yeah!" chimed Serena.

Lita chimed in, "Yeah, we were awesome, thanks to you, Mina."

A blushing Mina replied, "Oh, just trying to help!"

But Raye seemed to be steamed over something. She looked at the other girls harshly and said, "Don’t start celebrating yet! We may have four of them, but Tuxedo Mask still has three, and he’ll stop at nothing to get them. You know that! Plus, you know that the Negaverse will certainly come after us!"

"She’s right!" said Amy. "We need to develop a plan!"

And the conversation lowered in tone, as they formulated plan after plan. Meanwhile, Sailor Nemesis stared, shocked. I can’t believe it! They must be the Sailor Scouts! Actually, I should have known. I sensed a power surge from each of them. There’s no other explanation!

After a few minutes, the conversation soon started to end, voices louder now. "Well, are you ready?" encouraged Raye.

Serena looked determined. "Yes! The scouts are here! and the next time the Negaverse attacks, we’ll be ready!"

As the girls started to break up, Nemesis gave an evil grin. Oh no, you won’t be expecting this, Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Venus. Or should I be saying Mina, Lita, Raye, Amy, and Serena!?!? And I know just what to do.

The nemesis used her transport power to bring herself to the OSAP video game center downtown, Serena and Mina’s hangout. She went on a rampage, sucking up gamers’ energy, gaining more power, and knowing that the Scouts, and Tuxedo Mask, would detect this disturbance. As predicted, the Scouts, and Tuxedo Mask, started to head towards OSAP. As the helpless victims lay, dying and weak, Nemesis stood, laughing, waiting for the crystals to come within her grasp...
