The masses lay still, weak and in pain, and Nemesis just smiled. So Sailor Moon...Serena...thinks that they can defeat any evil. Well, I’ll just have to see about that...

And while in the process of thought, the door of OSAP was suddenly thrust open, and the five warriors stood in its midst...

"I am Sailor Venus, scout of love!"

"I am Sailor Jupiter, scout of thunder!"

"I am Sailor Mars, scout of fire!"

"I am Sailor Mercury, scout of water!"

"And I am Sailor Moon, the champion of justice! And on behalf of the moon, we shall punish you... who are you anyway?"

Mars looked this enemy over. "Yeah, you look like us, but different somehow."

Nemesis grinned an evil grin. "Well, I do want a fight, and a fair one at that, so I might as well tell you who I am."

All of a sudden, the evil scout shouted, "Nemesis Dark Beam Surround!" and a black beam of negative energy surrounded the scouts, hurting them.

"That is who I am! I am evil, the enemy of all that oppress me. I am...Sailor Nemesis! And you don’t stand a chance!"

Sailor Moon looked astonished. "Oh, really. Well, you don’t know us very well!"

"Oh, yes I do." and she started to laugh. "Yes, I do...Venus, or should I say Mina..."

Mina gasped. "No way!"

"Jupiter, a.k.a. Lita..."

"I don’t believe it!"

"Mars, I mean Raye..."

"How did you know, you evil scum!"

"Mercury, or shall I say Amy..."

"How..."

Nemesis grinned. "And of course, the one, the only, Sailor Moon, or the heroine otherwise known as the ditzy klutzoid SERENA!!"

Moon looked upset. "Hey, I resent that! But anyway, how did you find us out!"

"Oh, I have my ways." She then turned to the Scouts. "And what’cha gonna do about it?"

"Plenty!" shouted Lita. "Jupiter Thunder CRASH!"

"Mars Fire IGNITE!"

"Venus Crescent-V SMASH!"

"Mercury Bubbles BLAST!" but Nemesis just dodged the powerful attack, laughing all the way.

"Hah! Is that you got?" she cackled. Looking more sinister, she said, "Well then. Prepare to suffer." And as the girls huddled up, defending one another, the evil shouted -

"Nemesis Black Hole ENCLOSE!" as the negative power increased to its peak, a forcefield of dark energy formed around her targets, weakening them every second and effectively holding them captive.

Sailor Moon said effectively, "You think that a little forcefield can hold us? Well, stand back. Moon Tiara MAGIC!"

The glowing disc that was once her tiara had no effect on the all-powerful forcefield. "I don’t get it! How doesn’t this work?"

Nemesis scolded, "Don’t you see? Evil triumphs over ALL!"

All of a sudden, one could hear a crashing sound. The window was being smashed! "So, you think that you can defeat all good? Well, I have something to say about that!"

A tall man in a flowing cape and a tuxedo appeared, and Nemesis laughed, "Oh, so here’s the bumbling fool, Tuxedo Mask. Care to try me?"

"Bumbling fool! Why, you’ll pay ---" He threw a razor sharp rose at her, which was his signature attack She dodged it, thinking, Is this all he has to offer?

Tuxedo Mask looked flourished. "Yeah, well, take this!" and he charged towards her, throwing his walking stick that he carried as a weapon.

But Nemesis just cackled. "That’s all? Here, let me show you real power. Nemesis Black Hole Enclose!" and he was taken captive just like the Scouts.

Sailor Moon first spoke. "Tuxedo Mask, are you all right?"

"Yes, I’m fine. I would be trying to get your crystals right about now, but I’m tied up. You’re lucky."
"Oh..." she sighed, tears forming in her eyes. Why does she care so much about him, anyway?

The Tuxedo Mask groaned. "Anyway, you! Who are you, and what do you want with us?"

Nemesis laughed. "Well, seeing as if you’re all going to die anyway, I might as well tell you. I am Sailor Nemesis, enemy of all my oppressors. I was a Negaverse ally, the Black Daughter, but now I’ve found the true path!"

Jupiter wasn’t impressed. "So? What do you want?"

"I want the crystals! And now they are all together, all seven, and now I can have the shadow warriors for myself! I’ll show you...all of you...that I am worthy of my powers! You and Beryl! You’ll see!"

"Listen, Sailor Nemesis, we can help you. You’ve been oppressed, thrown out by the Negaverse, haven’t you?" said Sailor Moon.

"Yeah, what’s your point?"

"And you’ve been alone all this time, right? I can feel the pain coursing through you."

"Yeah, so?"

"Well, we can help. Become one of us. Be accepted by the Scouts, welcomed by goodness."

The others chimed in, "Yes, we’ll accept you!" "You aren’t truly evil!" "Of course we’ll accept you!" "You won’t be oppressed any more!"

Nemesis heard all of these pleads of mercy, and her head was pained, throbbing with emotion. Suddenly, she shouted in a rage, "No, you won’t accept me! No one will! Evil is the way! You’ll see, you’ll all pay for my torment! Nemesis Dark Beam SURROUND!" and the Scouts all felt her pain. They were weakened, along with Tuxedo Mask, who was hurt so much that he collapsed, lying unconscious.

Serena gasped. "Oh no, my Tuxedo Mask..."

I have them in my grasp now. They’ll all pay...
