The leader of the utopia of the Silver Millennium, Queen Serenity is a devoted, loyal, powerful ruler who would protect the peace of her kingdom at all costs. Omniscient in ways, it is amazing that Serenity would actually give birth to two daughters, instead of the one mandated by the laws of the Moon Kingdom...

What could have drawn her to this? Perhaps she didn't realize the consequences this could reek - what harm could another baby bring into the world? Maybe she fell to impulse, although we still don't know who her husband was...either way, it was probably the fact that Onyx was the SECOND child that made her into what she was - a dark, powerful, uncontrollable child, whose power was dangerous to be near. Probably, the child would only be free of this evil if she could be loved, but how could Serenity know? All she figured was that this child was not only powerful, but in danger of being discovered, and so gave her away, out of love, no less. By the time she wanted to come to terms with Onyx, it was too late.

From then on, the spirit of Serenity has watched over the Earth, over her two daughters and the soldiers of the Silver Millennium. She waits for her time to intervene, for the time when she can be reunited with the daughter she never knew. lucky for her, that time came.
